General Terms and Conditions of Participation
Competitions Organized by Einhell France
This page defines the general terms and conditions applicable to all competitions organized on the website einhell.fr and/or on the official social media accounts of Einhell France.
1. Organizer
The competitions are organized by:

(hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
2. Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in a competition implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
The specific details (dates, prizes, participation mechanism) are specified for each operation on the corresponding dedicated page.
3. Conditions of Participation
The competitions are open to any adult natural person residing in metropolitan France (including Corsica) who has an Internet connection and a valid email address.
The following persons are excluded:
- Employees of the Organizer and its subsidiaries
- Any person involved in the organization of the competition
- Members of their household
Participation is free and without obligation to purchase, unless otherwise expressly stated in the specific operation.
Any incomplete, fraudulent, or non-compliant participation will be cancelled.
4. Participation Methods
The specific participation methods are indicated for each competition (online form, newsletter subscription, social media post, etc.).
Unless otherwise stated:
- Only one entry per person is permitted (same name, same email address).
- The Organizer reserves the right to verify the identity of participants.
5. Selection of Winners
Winners are selected according to the methods specified for each competition:
- Random draw
- Jury selection
- Objective criteria defined in the operation
Winners are contacted by email or private message within the timeframe indicated on the competition page.
If no response is received within 48 hours, the prize may be awarded to another participant.
6. Prizes
Prizes are described on the page dedicated to each competition.
They cannot be:
- exchanged,
- refunded,
- converted into cash.
In the event of unavailability, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value.
7. Publication of Results
For competitions organized on social media, winners authorize the Organizer to publish:
- their first name,
- the initial of their last name,
- and/or their social media username
for the purpose of announcing the results.
Any additional commercial use will be subject to a separate authorization.
8. Liability
The Organizer cannot be held liable for:
- any technical malfunction beyond its control,
- Internet connection problems,
- loss or delay in the delivery of prizes,
- cases of force majeure.
9. Personal Data
Data collected as part of competitions are processed in accordance with:
- the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- and applicable French legislation.
Purposes of processing:
- Managing entries
- Selecting winners
- Sending prizes
- Sending marketing communications where prior consent has been given
Legal basis:
- Performance of a contract (participation in the competition)
- Consent (newsletter subscription)
Data are retained for the period necessary to manage the competition and are then archived or deleted in accordance with legal obligations.
In accordance with the regulations, participants have the following rights:
- right of access
- right to rectification
- right to erasure
- right to object
- right to restriction of processing
- right to data portability

Participants may also lodge a complaint with the
French Data Protection Authority (CNIL – Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).

10. Rules
These rules are available free of charge throughout the duration of the competitions.
In accordance with French regulations:
- Filing the rules with a judicial commissioner (bailiff) is not mandatory.
- The rules may be provided free of charge to anyone who requests them.
11. Applicable Law
The competitions are governed by French law.
Any dispute will first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution.
Failing agreement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
